Dynaco ST-416

This Dynaco ST-416 was built new by a friend in the late 1970’s. Before I received it, it had undergone prior repairs, spent time in a dusty basement, and was sprayed by flood water.

I carefully disassembled, cleaned, and restored the amplifier. This included new fuseholders, power resistors, and all electrolytic and ceramic disc capacitors. After rebuilding the stock PC-28 driver PCBs and reassembling, I was not satisfied with the performance so built new replacement boards using components from Fantasia Audio. It was a tremendous pleasure to restore this beautiful piece of vintage stereo equipment.
